Cover Letter
Dear Recipient,
Hello, my name is Emily Jenuwine and I would like to have the opportunity to apply for the job of the Video Production Specialist. I think I would really be good for this job, because of my hard work, experience in the field, and my education. I am very interested in having this job and having the opportunity to working with you.
I always was hard working throughout my life. I worked hard to get my GPA where it is, I work hard to get the grades I have today, and I work hard to achieve my goals. In sixth grade I remember my teacher telling us students about once you get into high school and how your grades and how you use your time, starts here. Today I realized she was right. Your work skills do count in middle school and will continue with you throughout high school, so I made middle school count. I tried my very best to get my grades up and to keep my grades up. My teachers loved having me in their classes, because I was such a hard worker and I was determined never to give up. And hard work does pay off, every time I got a test back and saw how high the grade was, it was accomplishing to me. I am also in the National Honor Society at my high school. Grades do count. This position would be a good option for me, because I would work hard and I wouldn’t give up.
I also have good experience with cameras and technology. I went to Lapeer Technology Center and learned all of my skills there. They taught me skills with both Mac and in a studio. My experience with cameras is considered well, I know how to create wide, medium, and tight shots. I also know how to white balance and regulate the audio controls. With the Mac computer I know how to create videos, such as; short films, commercials, announcements, and documentaries. I also know how to use Photoshop, Soundtrack Pro, Adobe Bridge, Adobe Illustrator, and Motion. My experience in all these is high quality. I would know how to get along well with the equipment and with other co-workers. I’m a very friendly person and get well with everyone! I believe in teams and I believe that teams should work together and bond. I am a varsity cheerleader and my team is the best. We all get along and work together. I think co-workers should bond and get along well, or the “team” wouldn’t be a team. Everyone is important and if one job doesn’t go right, none of them will, unless we all work together and help each other out.
This position would be a great opportunity and I didn’t want to pass it by. I know that I will work hard and be my very best I can be. I’ll be a real team player and make sure that that ever thing goes well. With my experience I know what I’ll have to be doing as a Video Production Specialist. I hope you’ll consider me into applying for the job. Thank you very much for your time into reading this and looking over my resume.
Sincerely, Emily Jenuwine
